	Senior Pastor: Robbin J. King E-mail - rking@hickorygrovebaptistchurch.com What a joy to serve as the pastor at Hickory Grove Baptist Church! It is such an honor to be a part of such a friendly, loving church family! I am a native of Georgia, having been born and raised in Waycross/Ware County, home of the Okefenokee Swamp (second to the Everglades in size and scope). I am a 1975 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a B.S. degree in Public Recreation, and a 1980 graduate of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree. I am madly in love with Lucy, my wife of 35 years. She is also a graduate of Georgia Southern University, and she earned her Master's degree from the University of South Carolina. We have two children: Chris, our son, who is married to Lindsay, and they have blessed us with our first grandchild--Ellie Jane--who was born on March 3rd of this year; and Stephanie, our daughter, who lives and works in Myrtle Beach. It is with great excitement and enthusiasm that I serve my Lord and Savoir, Jesus Christ, in such a wonderful church! It is my prayer that, under God's Leadership, we can see the harvest of many souls in His Kingdom right here in this community! I accepted Christ as my personal Savior when I was 6 years old here at Hickory Grove Baptist Church . I call Hickory Grove “home” because most of my life has been spent serving the Lord here. I attended Coastal Carolina University, where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Music Education. I earned a Master's Degree in Integrating the Arts in Curriculum from Lesley University . I have been employed with the Horry County School District since 1993, where I have taught both academics and music. I use my Godly parents, the late Rev. Jamie Anderson and Shelby Anderson, as role models as I endeavor to bring up my own child. I have a beautiful daughter, Harmony, who loves the Lord very much. I also have a wonderful husband, Benji, whom I met at a HGBC Music Revival. I am excited and grateful that God chose me to be the Music Director at Hickory Grove Baptist Church. I consider it an awesome opportunity to lift up God's name through song as we worship together. CDC Director: Erin Monday E-mail - hgcdc@sccoast.net I was born and raised in Concord, Michigan where I attended church as a child. After high school, I attended Michigan State University where I received my Bachelor's Degree in social work. My studies at MSU were focused on child development and community outreach. After graduating from MSU, I moved to South Carolina and began a family with my husband, Jeremy. We have a two year old daughter, Ella, who really enjoys coming here to Hickory Grove CDC! We began attending Hickory Grove Baptist Church in the summer of 2007, and it was during VBS that I gave my heart to Jesus. I am very excited to begin the Lord's work here at Hickory Grove CDC and to spread the message of Jesus Christ to our children! Administrative Assistant: Brandy Zurcher E-mail - hgbc@sccoast.net I was born in Goose Creek, SC. In 1992 my parents moved us back to their hometown of Conway. I am a graduate of Horry-Georgetown Technical College with an Associate Degree in Business. In 2002, I met my husband, Chris. It was Chris who led me to the Lord. We were married in December 2003 at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church. I am thankful to have a loving and God-fearing husband. Chris is pastor at New Home Baptist Church #1 in Conway, SC. I am also blessed to have loving parents, sisters and even in-laws! I am excited about what God has in store for Chris and me. It is my prayer that He will use us not only at Hickory Grove, but wherever He wants us to serve.
